How do we measure your HRV?
You can take your HRV measurement at any time by opening the Breathe App on your Apple Watch and completing a Breathe Session. In order to get the most accurate reading, we recommend measuring it first thing in the morning to limit the exposure of external factors and stressors such as a stressful day at work or an afternoon jog. We suggest completing your Breathe Session standing still in an upright position, limiting your movement to get the most accurate reading. If you do make a sudden movement during the breathe exercise and we are unable to take your HRV reading you will be prompted with an unsuccessful attempt and be asked to complete the Breathe Session again.
