How do we calculate your Relative Balance?
Your Relative Balance is calculated by dividing your HRV Baseline Range into two quartiles. By calculating the minimum and maximum ranges of your HRV Baseline Range, we are able to plot where your Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous System are activated relative to your personalized HRV Baseline Range.
At any time, your nervous system activation can occur within 1 of 4 defined zones: Stress Response, Optimal Performance, Recovery Response, or Rest & Digest.
